The Canadian building materials industry is one of Canada’s largest industries, with annual revenues of 46 billion dollars per year. The industry, comprised mainly of small businesses, currently accounts for over 135,000 jobs and is growing at a rate of 3.2% per year. With more than 50,000 job openings expected in the next 10 years, students with the Building Supply Warehousing & Distribution certificate are well-prepared to start their careers in this growing industry.

ELIGIBILITY

• Permanent Resident, Canadian citizen or Refugee

• Will commit to full-time training

• Wii accept full-time employment

PARTICIPANTS WILL RECEIVE

• 6 weeks of industry-specific training

• Full-time employment in BC’s building supply industry

• 1 year of job support to successful candidates
