BC's manufacturing sector needs you!

Manufacturing accounts for over 176,000 jobs in BC. According to the 2018 Labour Market Outlook, there will be more than 50,000 manufacturing job openings in the next 10 years due to replacement and industry growth. Three-quarters of these future job openings will require workers with some form of post-secondary education or training. The Manufacturing Production Worker Level 1 delivers the training students need for success in this exciting industry.

Eligibility

• Permanent Resident or Canadian citizen

• Will commit to full-time training

• Will accept full-time employment

Participants will receive the following:

• 8 weeks of industry-specific training

• Full-time employment in BC’s manufacturing sector

• 1 year of job support to successful candidates
