EMERGENCY FIRST AID BLENDED COURSE DURATION: Total course training time is approximately 7.25 hours, which includes approximately 2.75 hours of online theory in addition to the in-class practical training session and exam.

EMERGENCY FIRST AID BLENDED COURSE TESTING:Testing conducted throughout the online portion of this blended learning Emergency First Aid course is designed to reinforce the information presented. A mark of 80% must be achieved to advance to successive sections of the online course. Additionally, the successful completion of an in-class practical assessment and examination are required to receive Emergency First Aid certification.

EMERGENCY FIRST AID BLENDED COURSE CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION:Upon successful completion of the online portion of the course, a Proof of Completion certificate will be available for download and printing. This certificate must be presented to the in-class training instructor in order to participate in the skills assessment and exam.

Full Emergency First Aid certification is achieved once both the online and in-class portions of the course have been successfully completed, including the practical training session and written final exam.

This course has been approved by the Alberta government.
